"I watched Bob grow up in his early years and enjoyed his company when we went to visit the Slack family (my sister's family) along the Fox River. I have gratitude to sharing Bob's early life, his move to Florida for a year, his bicycling, his playing ping pong with me, and proudly seeing him at the family reunions in Wisconsin, where he played volleyball like no one else. I will miss following his life. My sister (his mother) must bear an unbearable loss, and his children Natalie and Rachel have sadly lost their Dad. My heart also goes out to Jane, who shared his life for so many years."
