Loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend

Nancy A. Lorr, age 84, of McHenry, passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, March 30, 2021, at Journey Care in Barrington. Nancy was born October 30, 1936, in Chicago, the daughter of Anthony and Alice (Zavoral) Kramer.

Nancy enjoyed working for many years in the Insurance Industry.

Nancy was very faithful to the church, praying the Rosary daily and attending Sunday morning Mass. She enjoyed going out to eat, especially after Mass on Sunday. Nancy loved going to the movies, and shopping, but she most adored and loved being with her family. Nancy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Nancy is survived by her loving children: Ed (Jane) Lorr, Greg (Karen) Lorr, Susan Dorwaldt, and Albert (Allison) Lorr, III; grandchildren: Christopher (Amy), Michael (Reign), Patrick (Amanda), Caitlyn (Marc), Miranda, Olivia, Lyla, Weston, Jessica, Albert IV (Abby), Matthew (Corissa), Jacob (Tina) and Logan; and great-grandchildren: Holly, Cain, Mazikeen, McKenzie, Madeline, Ethan, Ashton, Hayden, Sammy and one on the way. She is further survived by her sisters: Mary Jane (Bob) Gaal, and Carolyn Zetscher. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony Kramer and Alice Kramer Spicuzza, and sister, Joanie Damiani.

Visitation for Nancy will be held on Monday, April 5, 2021, from 4-8 P.M. at Colonial Funeral Home, 591 Ridgeview Drive, McHenry. Visitation will continue Tuesday morning, April 6, 2021, from 9-10 A.M. at the Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11 A.M. at Christ The King Catholic Church, 5006 E. Wonder Lake Road, Wonder Lake. Interment will follow in the Christ The King Cemetery.

In following with the CDC Covid 19 recommendations and the Illinois mandates, only 50 people will be allowed inside the funeral home at a single time, and all attendees must wear a face mask or face covering prior to entering the funeral home.
