Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather and Brother

Edward P. Kennedy, Jr. was born in Chicago and grew up on the South Side. He attended St. Nicholas of Tolentine 1st through 8th grade then went to St. Phillip High School Chicago. After high school, he worked for Moore Motor Freight, then he worked for Kean Oil Co. in the Channel Lakes Region.
Ed was a big sports fan and in his later years enjoyed going to his grand children's sporting events. He liked watching his favorite TV shows Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune and Cash Cab and watched the stock market as well.
Ed was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Johnsburg, IL. He married Edna Mueller at the church on February 1, 2002. They then went to Rome and had their marriage blessed by Pope John. It was a big event for both of them. Ed was involved at St. John's on the cemetery committee and on the finance counsel.
Ed enjoyed going to McHenry County College and attending RAP classes for seniors. He met and acquired many interesting friends. Ed always wanted to be an organ donor, but due to his illness he was unable. Rather he donated his body to the Anatomical Gift Association to continue benefiting others.
